Scott Daniels is a licensed broker with Practice Concepts and heads the team of all the practice specialty divisions. He has completed and worked on hundreds of successful practice sales and transitions over the years and has more than 20 years of experience in business management, financing, marketing, negotiations and practice brokerage.

He has lectured and has been a speaker at several schools and seminars and has had several articles published in various publications. After first developing the practice transition market in the ophthalmic field, he successfully added veterinary and medical practice sales. His unique insight into the emotional and customized process of professional sales has provided a unique value for our clients. His style is very informative and through this he has developed a system and process making it easier for buyers and sellers to create a smoother and successful system. From the beginning, the seller information packages provide invaluable information for buyers to more easily select the perfect practice to buy.

His system has resulted in faster and more successful sales and provides hands-on assistance and resources to buyers and sellers. He is currently working on a book and DVD to help buyers through the process of finding, selecting and buying and completing the sale for the practice of their dreams. He currently lives in Southern California along with his wife Dr. Alissa Wald and their two children. "Besides my family, the biggest thrill I get is helping doctors fulfill their dreams. Alissa Wald, O.D. is our executive advisory member. She is a successful practice owner, purchasing her first office over 30years ago, and along with her husband, Scott Daniels, founded Practice Concepts. She graduated from the University of Houston School of Optometry and headed west to California.  She provides management support to Practice Concepts and assists buyers in transition questions and other insurance or medical related areas. Her expertise in medical billing, coding, practice management and systems has provided a unique value for clients.

Having been out of school for about one year working as an optometrist, she realized she wanted to be an owner. Her decision was based on the desire to take vacations when she wanted, and to practice medicine based on her own high standards.  With no experience and no family background in business ownership she purchased a small practice from a retiring optometrist.  She borrowed the money from her parents.  The office needed a lot of work, and as it grew she purchased new equipment and expanded.  Today she has grown her offices as strong medical and boutique practices including several exclusive eyewear lines.  She's a member of the American Optometric Association and California Optometric Association, as well as the National Association of Women Business Owners.  She balances practice ownership with her two children and husband Scott Daniels.  "My philosophy with patients has always been excellent customer services and the best patient care. I treat people the way I want to be treated.  I feel very blessed that I can practice the way I want, challenge myself and have a great quality of life to enjoy with my family and children."

Allison is a licensed real estate agent with Practice Concepts. She has been with us over 18 years and has over 30 years experience in the ophthalmic profession. Prior to working as an agent, Allison worked for an equipment distributor. This gave her an excellent foundation in understanding the needs of an office.  Allison first joined us an an administrative manager and advanced to obtain her real estate license almost 18 years ago.  She works with both buyer and Sellers and passion is helping buyers find the perfect practice. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and her dogs. She enjoys travelling and recently made an excursion to Alaska.
